Education: Augustana College, Sioux Falls SD, pursued B.A. in Sociology and Theatre Arts, University of Minnesota, pursued Bachelor’s of Individualized Studies in American Indian Studies, Social Justice and Theatre Arts. Currently studying Social Work at St. Catherine’s University.

Relevant Experience: Jennifer has devoted most of her life towards community advocacy and empowerment of youth and women from marginalized communities. She has three years of experience as a tutor and mentor with Native Reads, an after school reading program for Native youth in Sioux Falls, SD. Five years of experience as a community based artist and organizer working with youth and women to create dialogue and challenge stereotypes through theatre. As an organizer for the Summit-University Planning Council, Jennifer organized a neighborhood cabaret, where youth came out and performed for their neighbors, emphasizing what “neighborhood” meant to them.
