Education: A.S. Degree in Nutrition and Community Wellness from United Tribes Technical College in Bismarck, ND
Relevant Experience: Ashley has several years’ experience working with youth and adults in the Native American Community. She has experience as an Assistant Pre-School Teacher, Youth Coordinator, and Health Educator. All of this history with the Native American Community gave Ashley wonderful experience in the areas of prevention services and community resources. Most recently Ashley had the opportunity to utilize her degree working as a Diabetes Prevention Program Health Educator. During her time as a Health Educator, Ashley worked with both youth and adults to educate them and give them to tools to live a healthier lifestyle. Ashley uses her nutrition and community wellness experience to work with youth in Ninijanisag in the area of and Tobacco Prevention.
