- Ninijanisag Program Youth Honoring June 21, 2011
The Ninijanisag (Our Children) Program was launched in 1993 to combat startlingly high rates of violence, chemical use/abuse, suicide, and other self-compromising behaviors among American Indian youth. Ninijanisag teaches youth ages 10-21 problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills in a community and cultural context. The Ain Dah Yung Center’s Open House on May 25, 2011 was a great success! We are so pleased that approximately 155 people attended from our community, funders, our County partners and many friends.
