Pow Wow Highlights:
- 1600 children & families celebrated their American Indian traditions
- Youth competed for ADYC’s first Youth Ambassadors Contest
- Hand Drum contestants from throughout the Midwest came to compete at our first major contest
- Hundreds of people donated to our “Families in Need Drive” providing much needed household items for parents and their children
- Youth, after months of practicing, advocated for all to hear, for chemically and tobacco free communities
- Hundreds of children, adults and elders, together, danced and sang their hearts out
Special thanks to all the businesses in our community who partnered with us and helped make this year’s Pow Wow one of the best! With you as our BUSINESS DONORS:
- 31 families went home with great prizes for themselves and their children
- And thousands of people now know that you cared enough to be a partner with this community event!
